Physical Therapy Services' response to Covid-19

Updated: May 28, 2020

As always, our patients' health and safety is our number one priority. We have increased our cleaning and disinfecting protocols to maintain the safety and health of our patients and staff. As per Gov. Murphy, physical therapy has been deemed essential during the covid-19 pandemic. We are open at this time and will keep you updated on what is happening with Physical Therapy Services.

We are eliminating wait time in our waiting room for the safety of patients and their family members. An air purifier has been set up in the waiting to eliminate bacteria, allergens, and germs from the air.

Our office is set up into 6 individual treatment rooms. Each patient is given their own room for the duration of their appointment. Although this is nothing new to the experience at Physical Therapy Services, the patients are staying in their rooms and are not interacting with other patients. Each therapist is wearing a mask when interacting with patients in their rooms.

Each room and equipment are all disinfected after each use. The tables are wiped down, the pillow cases are changed, and all equipment are disinfected. We have increased the frequency of laundry, and all of our laundry is washed with detergent and bleach.

As part of the Pompton Plains, NJ community, we take pride in treating our patients as family. We would never put our patients in harms way. Physical Therapy Services has offered a hands-on personalized approach to physical therapy for over 35 years. We will continue to do this as best as we can while maintaining an acceptable amount of space between us.

We would like to thank our community member from Pompton Plains and the surrounding areas for their continued support during this time. Our staff has been their for you and your family during your time in need, and we thank you for you support during this time. We would also like to thank the hospital and front line workers for their efforts of caring for our community.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office at (973)835-6115. We will get through this together! Stay safe and healthy, and do your part to flatten the curve!
